This is to inform you that we have been experiencing degraded performance on the Safaricom SMS Gateway since Monday 11th July. This is resulting in intermittent delays on some messages with some cases of messages not being delivered completely.
This has been due to an Infrastructure Outage Safaricom has been facing on their end. Their engineers, however, have been working to fully resolve the outage, and the timelines given for full resolution are the end of day Thursday 14th July.
